Probably one of the cheapest replacement doors you will find is one made of aluminum. These doors have the benefit of never rusting or needing painting; however, they are soft metal which will dent easily. They also do not look as nice on your home as others types of doors do. You will find that it will cost you between $400 and $700 to have an aluminum door installed on your garage.
Canopy Doors: When a canopy door opens it swings outwards and then slides upwards into the garage ceiling. This leaves one third of the door outside the garage. The security of the door is enhanced as the pivot points are located down the door.
